Fall 2015 is about recovery. Now that we are finally emerging out of that dreadful recession, the time has come to get in touch with your luxurious well put together high fashion side. Some of the best looks coming out this season feature mixed media. Tweed with leather details, cashmere layered on silk or my all-time classic favorite, dressed up denim.
For the guys, prints are here to stay, so play with them. Most retailers have a variety of funky print patterns that are designed to catch the eye and show off your playful side. Since you’re shopping for fall looks, keep the contrast high with unusual colors that celebrate the season. Try on mustard yellow with browns, or burnt orange and blue. You’d be surprised at how well these colors complement each other and give you a look that can stand out for bold originality and great style.
Ladies, fall dresses are the dominant players this season. Leather, lace and lots of eastern inspired prints. The fitted sheath dress is the most popular look but there are some amazing fit and flare looks give a flattering A line shape. If you’re looking for a skirt, pencil skirts paired with contrasting fabrics and a wide waist belt to finish the look is the way to go. Classic looks, like the fitted pants with a boyfriend shirt never go away and make for a comfortable transition into the chilly weather.
The key to any look you might choose this fall is accessories. The look is in the details. Scarves, especially oversized and cozy are a great addition to almost any look. Leather accessories, including jewelry details make a nice accent to a mixed media piece. The little details tell the world you put thought into your look, tell the world all about who you are.!
